Private Pilot Payment Plan
There are several options for financing your flight training. FL Aviation Center offers two monthly payment plans, and an hourly rate.

FSU/FAMU/TCC Student Private Pilot Programs
Designed to start and end with your school semester dates.
You can complete one license or rating per semester, while still maximizing your college student experience. Take advantage of this opportunity and be a CFI by the time you graduate!
The dates below reflect the 2020-2021 school semester schedule,
and our dates will be updated to match the school calendars.

Fall or Spring Semester Programs (4 month duration) - $13,500 or $3,375/month
Includes:
Three lessons per week, totaling 45 hours of flight time
5 hours in the Redbird
All pre- and post-flight ground instruction as specified in our custom syllabus

Any additional hours required for your training at a steeply discounted rate of
$223 per hour (dual)
Recommended for the 12 credit student with 0-2 extracurriculars.
Fall Dates: Aug 15th to Dec 15th (FSU/FAMU/TCC classes are Aug 25 to Dec 11)
Option: Extend program 1 week to have Thanksgiving Break Nov. 25-28
Spring Dates: Jan 10th to May 10th (FSU/FAMU/TCC classes are Jan 6 to May 1)
Option: Extend 1 week to have Spring Break Mar. 16-21)

Please consider that if you decide to take a week break, you may need to pay for 1-2 additional lessons if any skills or knowledge needs to be refreshed.

There are also hundreds of thousands of dollars given away every year in flight training scholarships. AOPA, EAA, and WAI are among organizations that offer the most scholarships, but new scholarships pop up all the time – so search frequently, and apply often.
